Jams 8ft Dish

I have recently quoted Rs.4500 for 8ft Jams Dish by a retailer. I want to know whether the Dish is Good Enough or Not. Also Whether the price is fair or Not. My intention is to track intelsat 17 from Tamilnadu. Can i track IS17 using this dish(Including week Tps)?
