Joubane Amoni Kore was a Assamese film directed and produced by Ashok Kumar Bishaya which was released on 19 May 1998. After a long recession in the Assamese film industry, the film became very popular and made the Assamese audience interested in Assamese films. Today the movie celebrating it's Silver jubilee, on the occasion of Silver jubilee of the movie producers and actors of the movie announced that they are making it's second part.
