Kabir Bedi returns to small screen after a hiatus. He is going to be a part of a project based on Buddhha’s life that is to be aired on Zee TV. Bedi has been roped in to play a sage who foresees the arrival of the great saint Gautam Buddha. It is a mega project by Dr. BK Modi who is also a close of the actor.
Bedi himself is a keen follower of Buddhism and his mother was a Buddhist nun for around 15 years in Tibet. Here’s hoping that connection works well for the show which was actually initially planned as full fledged movie and is now being worked at as a tele series. The show will cover the life of the saint from being born as Prince Siddharth to his transition to Buddha. Watch this space for more updates!
