In an informal chat with presspersons here, the Minister said there were complaints that cable TV operators were collecting Rs. 400 to Rs. 500 from houses.
In addition, they were providing some channels that were not subscribed for.
The State government was considering providing cable TV service emulating the model followed by the Tamil Nadu government, under which the government charged Rs. 100 per month, Mr. Baig said.
