At Gujarat News Broadcasters, Attri will, for now, look after the group's news channel, VTV News' pan-India operations. The content, sales and marketing head of the channel will directly report in to Attri. He will also be steering the network's expansion to other markets as it intends to launch general news channels in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan by next year.
In his new role, Attri will report in to the Kiran Vadodaria, CMD of Sambhaav Media Limited, the parent company of Gujarat News Broadcasters. This is to note that Gujarat News Broadcasters was acquired by Sambhaav Media Limited in November 2015. Sambhaav Media, a well-known media house also runs Sambhaav Metro (a daily tabloid in Gujarat), Abhiyaan (a Gujarati magazine) and WISE TV (transit television channel).
