The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday issued notice to television channel Aaj Tak directing it to produce documents relating to the alleged misappropriation of funds by the Dr. Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust, run by Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid and his wife Louise.

The notice was issued by a division bench comprising Justice Umanath Singh and Justice Satish Chandra on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a social activist requesting court to supervise the inquiry being done by the economic offence wing (EOW) of the Uttar Pradesh (UP) police into the allegation of misappropriation of funds given by the government to Zakir Hussain Trust.

The court after hearing the two parties issued the notice to Aaj Tak news channel which conducted the sting operation to expose the alleged anomalies done by Khurshid's trust. The next date of hearing will be on October 30.
