Manthan MSO - The worst MSO in Kolkata

Manthan Communications, one of the popular MSOs in Kolkata has now become the worst MSO in terms of offering services and also a big defaulter when it comes to paying dues to broadcasters.

Here is a brief history of broadcasters pulling out their channels from Manthan:

• 2014 : Star and ESPN pull off their channels from Manthan over non payment of dues.
• 2016, April-May : Zee channels pulled out of Manthan.
• 2016, June : Star channels pulled off
• 2018, June : Star, Sony Network pulls out of Manthan

I'm not on Manthan. I'm on Dish TV. One of my relatives were subscribers of Manthan. Moreover, there is an article in today's Times of India Kolkata edition, about Manthan customers abandoning the MSO for other options.

Manthan will slowly become extinct. Mark my words - They won't survive.
