MUMBAI: Max will air the world television premiere of the Telugu dubbed thriller ‘Yevadu’ at 8 pm on Saturday, 20 June.

There will be a repeat telecast the next day at 12 noon.

Inspired by the popular Hollywood film ‘Face Off’, ‘Yevadu’ is a revenge drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally. It stars Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in lead roles with cameos played by Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal.

Max and Max2 senior EVP and business head Neeraj Vyas said, “There is a huge demand for regional cinema which more often than not becomes benchmarks in storytelling and technology. ‘Yevadu’ is a commercial potboiler that boasts of crisp and evocative dialogue, well-choreographed fights, light hearted scenes and seat- gripping action. We hope our viewers get their dose of entertainment with this masala film.”

The plot has Sathya (Arjun) fighting for his life after Dheeru Bhai (Rahul Dev) and gang kill his girlfriend Deepth (Kajal). Sathya is saved by a miraculous face transplant surgery and returns to take his revenge. The face belongs to a guy called Charan (Ram Charan) and his past catches up with Sathya.
