Den Digital Cable(in Lucknow) has removed Sony Channels(SET,SAB, Max, Six, Pix), Discovery Science, DiscoveryTurbo, Animal Planet,TLC, Movies Now,Aaj Tak, Tez,Headlines Today, Times Now,ET Now, Discovery Kids, Animax, Zoom, few days ago.
Only Discovery & AXN channels are left from MSM(Hindi Belt)
Also Neo Prime & Sports also Removed

The multi service operator of DEN said that Sony has applied new terms and conditions in the contract which would be solved soon. The transmission would not be resumed till the time the matter is solved.

This is the only reason I never like Cable TV. Not even for free I would like to have it. Useless system ever developed by humans till day today :angry
 
This can happen to any DTH also...It all depends on their terms & conditions in agreement.
