MUMBAI: After holding exclusive pre-parties in 12 different cities, MTV’s hunt for the perfect bloc for its ‘Karbonn Smart MTV Bloc Party’ is over, as people have voted for Juhu Bloc in Mumbai to host the party.
The channel will host the party from 11 to 12 April, featuring over 30 DJs, dance music, and after parties.
Headlined by DJ BL3ND and Bassjackers, the two-day fest will also feature artists like Rewire & Varski, Nucleya, Ash Roy, Calm Chor, Ankytrixx, Reggae Rajahs, Lost Stories, Su Real, and more.
Hosted by Nikhil Chinapa, the party gates will open at 3 pm on 11 April at the beachfront Juhu Hotel and will spill out to multiple night-party blocs across Juhu.
MTV India head marketing, media and insights Sumeli Chatterjee said, “‘MTV Bloc Party’ brings the party right at your doorsteps in the city with not just one or two stages, but integrates the whole of Juhu bloc.
We are playing with concept of light and geometry that will make it a spectacular and musical sunset by the beach and a treat in the Mumbai summer.
And, to top it all, with just one ticket, one can ride on a fun club-hop post the sunset, where music follows your footsteps.”
Attendees will be given a wristband at the gate that will serve as the entry pass for all the party venues across the bloc while the bloc party cabs will ferry them across venues
