As after-shocks of the Nepal earthquake continue to hit all of North India, National Geographic Channel is set to premiere a documentary ‘Trapped in Nepal’.
The documentary on natural calamity will air on 15 June at 9 pm. It will feature first-hand accounts from real survivors, and user-generated footage from several teams on-ground in Nepal.
NGC Networks and Fox International Channel business head Swati Mohan said, “With ‘Trapped in Nepal’, Nat Geo will not only reveal the science behind this tragic news story that has impacted all of us in the past few weeks but will also investigate the magnitude of loss to the country and share stories of escape, survival and challenging relief operations in all the most affected regions of Nepal including the devastation caused by the multiple avalanches on Mount Everest.”
The hour-long special reinstates Nat Geo’s focus on investigative story-telling to examine the human cost and share stories of survival with viewers all over the world.
