This channel has seen better days. Earlier it had so many innovative shows like Highway On My Plate (and so many other food shows with Rocky and Mayur), Chakh Le India and of course the infamous Kingfisher calendar shows. After Kingfisher’s exit one of the biggest reasons to watch the channel — the naughtiest one — came to an end. There is very little new content on offer compared to TLC, Travelxp, Zee Zest, Food Food and the rebranded Star Life.

In the hands of the Adanis, we see many other NDTV channels undergoing a lot of changes, like the relaunching of NDTV Profit, the launching of several regional channels and the planning for new HD feeds (though it will be years, I feel, before NDTV 24x7/India go on air) — but for NDTV Good Times GOODTiMES I see absolutely no plan at all!

Goodtimes should consider shutting down, just like Imagine did. 0% relevance whatsoever.

I don't think its owned by NDTV at all now..
There's a reason why NDTV was dropped from the channel name.

No, it’s still very much owned by NDTV. The ownership has never changed, even though the word NDTV was dropped from the name.

Nope . NDTV Sold the Channel to Lifestyle and Media Broadcasting Limited in 2018 which is an Indirect Network Of Kingfisher. But till date NDTV is doing the Distribution of the channel .

Wasn’t aware of this, so thanks for sharing. My understanding was that it still featured on the NDTV website’s footer so NDTV was still involved in some way. All my articles mentioning it are therefore wrong… :wall: Now it’s even clearer that there’s not much of a future left for the channel! :cf2:

NDTV still owns GoodTimes channel via its subsidiary....for details click below link and scroll to last paragraph of the article
