@Mazhar Bhai : In India we speak lot of languages, hence priority is also given to regional language channels.... which is important for gathering the regional audience...

Like in Pakistan, apart from Urdu, you have pashtoni (NWFP) and also the language in Balochistan is also different

I think these regional channels have less viewership because of language understanding.

Hindi channels have big viewership.

But still in India regional channels have a value, be it from any region... Because apart from Hindi as a national language, regional languages are given prominence in their respective regions especially in sub urban and rural areas....
