Seeking Help Need some info regarding DTH and Tatasky

Hello friends...I have been using siti cable all my life....all was great until TRAI rules comes in...was getting all channels at low cost...even got hd box of siti cable and getting all sd/hd channels @400...relationship with LCO was gud...however after trai rules no online channel selection available...30 days lock in..too many audio video problems...higher costs
I have been waiting for jio iptv as i m using jio gigafiber..but now getting frustrated by delays...so thinking of buying tata sky or airtel..i want to ask some noob question as i haven't used dth before..
1-Which one is better tata sky or airtel..both have good reviews..
2-Is there any mandatory monthly charges...like if i dont want to use dth for 2 months..do i have to pay something monthly or if not do i have to pay something after activating it 2 months after
3-is there any lockin period...how recharge system works..like if i recharge for 400..do balance deduct daily
4-If i use tata sky or airtel curated packs..can i add channels over it

Mostly i will be using dth for 3-4 onths only until jio installs hometv ....pls help a friend out

Tata Sky has better services and best customer care Support.

Monthly charge totally depends on your channel selection. Yes you can definitely stop recharging, no extra charges will be deducted.

There is 0 day lock in period for all Channels and Packs except Tata Sky Services. Balance deducts on Daily basis.

Yes you can add any channel or pack over Tata Sky Curated Packs.

I haven't used Airtel so can't comment. I have tata sky and I can say the service is really good. The customer care is excellent. PQ and AQ are Great.

Hd STB cost is Rs 1499 and u will have to pay charge of 1st month when u take the connection. Mandatory charges per month is Rs 153 for all FTA channels. After than u can take either ala carte channels or packs as per Ur wish. Also if u don't wish to use it after few months u don't need to recharge. Also there is no reactivation charges in case u wish to recharge and continue the services.

There is no lock in period for any pack or individual channels u can add remove anytime. U can recharge any amount as balance gets cut on per day basis.

Yes u can add individual channels not available in the chosen pack over curated packs in Tata sky.

Hi guys, I have a Sony Bravia 40" Full HD LED with Dish TV HD plan which I'm going to change either to Tata sky or Airtel DTH.

I've seen few TV's which shows 60fps like picture quality which is very smooth and I'm not able to figure out that whether its a TV's feature or its the Set top box.

Can someone help me on this?
