DDF Exclusive New Android TV STB from Airtel : Xstream Smart Box

In addition to the new Xstream Smart Stick, Airtel is also replacing its "Internet TV", released in 2017.

The STB is called the Xstream Smart Box, runs Android TV 9.0 and comes with a dual DVB-S2 tuner, of course.
The manufacturer is Technicolor (who bought LG's STB business in 2017).

Processor is a Dual-core 1.8 GHz Broadcom BCM72604.

Like the 'Internet TV', this STB is also Netflix and Amazon Prime certified.

I think it’s only for V fiber customers. Not for DTH customers.

I think this box for OTT apps/IPTV, not for DTH services like Internet box (DTH+OTT/IPTV).

I can 100% confirm this box has a dual DVB-S (satellite) tuner. And it should replace the previous Internet TV device.

It will be for dth subscribers, using internet on it one can access OTT or other services. It is upgraded variant of internet tv box. Existing Airtel broadband subscribers might get special offers for using OTT/internet facility on this box and those buying new connection will get attractive bundled schemes. Also expecting airtel to extend "thanks" program and include digital tv subscribers in it.
