EDIT: These were old base-packs, many of which have been discontinued, hence, it is not advisable to go for the packs. Always check with CC before taking any pack.

Has airtel launched new Base Packs? I can see the following new base packs in Selfcare (Desktop)
I am mentioning the same here with the quoted price per month:

The channels mentioned as additional in brackets is as compared to Value Prime Kids Pack which is lowest pack excluding MyPlan:

Bollywood Pack: Rs 316
Bollywood Plus Pack: Rs 316 (This has Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports Select 1)
Value Cricket: Rs 319 (This has Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports Select 1)
Eco Sports Mah: Rs 320 (This pack has only 4 kids channels, but additional SS1, SS1Hindi, SSS1, Ten1, Ten2, Ten3, Times Now, NDTV 24x7, CNN News18, ET Now)
Value Max: Rs 320 (This has Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports Select 1, Ten2)
Kids plus Bollywood Pack: Rs 327
Plus Eng Pack: Rs 368 (This has AXN, Comedy Central, Star World, Zee Cafe, HBO, PIX, Star Movies, Zee Studio, WB, Movies Now2, SS1, SS1Hindi, SSS1)
Sports Pack: Rs 368 (This has all sports channels)
Eco Sprt Mah Spl 2: Rs 369 (This has Times Now, NDTV 24x7, India Today, CNN News18, SS1, SS1Hindi, SSS1, Ten1, Ten2, Ten3, SIX)
Economy Std Eng: Rs 369

The existing packs remain as it is and I am able to see above packs in addition.

Post #1 edited with benefit in each new pack. It is interesting to note the channels added. Major genres that get added across packs are:
  • Sports
  • English News
  • English Entertainment
  • English Movies
Effectively, we can see price of packs coming down even more for ADTV users. Hope this post is helpful to all. Cheers.
 
Hello everyone! I am new here but I was following this forum from many years.
Why I am not able to see new Base packages in self care portal?
 
The packs mentioned in the first post are priced between Rs.316 and Rs.369. Most likely they became visible in your selfcare because you downgraded your pack in that range. Only packs above the current basepack will be visible. Most of these packs look like ancient ones that were abandoned by airtel. So there is a chance that many newer channels will be missing in it, but you can still use it if you think its worth it.
