dont worry dear preet as tata sky and videocon r entering an agreement, tata sky will get many videocon channels and videocon will get many tata sky channels. soon first channels will b added on their respective satellite and videocon will have all chgannels that r curently on tata sky while tata sky still cannot add channels (except hd channels of tata sky which they will get from videocon till gsat 10 is launched in march) after april 2012 ,there is a big plan, both videocon and tata sky will beam channels thru shared transponders,all customers will b given monoblock lnb,if tata sky shifts to mpeg4 then well and good, all channels will b shared thru commom transponders and few transponders will bkept for exclusive content for both. if tata sky stays on mpeg2, then also its fine as tata sky and videocon customers both will get standard channels thru mpeg2 and hd channels thru mpeg4 technology but big thing will b that if supppose adding both tata sky and videocon transponders there r 40 transponders and 36 r common trnsponders used to relay channels for both operators, there will b enough space and all channels will come, 4 additional transpnders can bused to give any exclusive channels which both want for their customers
so wait a little many good things and most importantly big things r on its way
