new software version 105 released

tata sky has released software version 105 for hd and hd plus boxes. there r a few changes which have happened with this update

1-earlier in letter box format , the black bars up and below used to b of grey color, now it has been turned to good opriginal black color and is looking good.
2-now u can adjust box preset volume. thst is if the box is powered off and is switched on again,it will open at preset volume

3-there is a new audio option added named preferred audio with 2 options hdmi and spdif,however spdif option still cannot b selected.

other than this there r no changes but key thing is that despite latest software downloaded, the software download ststus is still idle meaning another update will follow soon

TataSky should give edit option of recorded content like renaming,cutting etc.

well the black bar issue is also very good. earlier there wer grey bars and they looked ugly specially when there was a movie which was in small aspect ratio so mivie had black bars and above it in top and below it in bottom there wer grey bars of letter box format

i forgot to mention one more thing. now stb response has become fast, earlier it used to b slow in changing channels or scrolling thru menu

only one thing is terrible that pic quality is very very bad on many channels, even channels like star cricket which should not b compressed that much have cracky picture which coupling with deblocking done by tata sky has made pic worse

Tried manual update for 4-5 times yesterday and today also. But its failed to download update even after master reset.

Avoid doing new software download manually it might create some problem to STB if we do it manually...
