Discussion News updates scroll should be remove from DD Channels - YES or NO ?

Most of the DD Channels using news updates scroll on bottom of the channels which gives very bad experience of TV viewing. This should be remove to give good experience of TV viewing.

Question : Is news update scroll shows for some reason or what ? News update scroll should be show at News time. Rest of the time Broadcasting should be clean screen.

If you ask this question to me - I says YES it should be removed.

That's the only thing which great in DD channels why because in daily life we are not that mich watching news channel so that while watching content we will get to know about current affairs and news

India is a very unique country for TV broadcasting since it’s one of the only countries (if not THE only country) where almost ZERO* private entertainment channels show news, and therefore Doordarshan is the only broadcaster which is capable of showing news updates and scrolling tickers on its entertainment channels. Of course it’s distracting but I feel it has its purpose for DD.

*Except ETV and Sun TV of course.
