Nickelodeon India to launch sub-brands for consumer products

Nickelodeon India plans to launch sub-brands in the consumer products segment called Nick Explore, Nick Sports and Nick Action.

The first edition of Nick Explore range of toys and games will be launched in collaboration with Mexus Education. These games are targeted at kids aged 8 years and above. It includes toys such as rocking chairs, quad bikes, 360 degree cannons, walking robots, retro planes, and earthquake meters among others.

Sandeep Dahiya, Senior Vice-President - Consumer Products & Communications, Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd, says, “This collaboration marks our entry into a new domain – both from a brand as well as a category perspective. The ‘Nick Explore’ range of kits, developed by Mexus Education, will help unlock the creative potential in older kids, while exposing them to basics of science in a manner that’s fun and interactive.”
