Breaking One more Bengali Channel removed

It seems to be a bad time for RDTV Bengali customers. After Sony Aath removal now Colors Bangla also removed.

Looks like the start of removal of Network18 channels from the platform. They were anyway unavailable from 1st October.

Unavoidable, given that it wants to become a DTH offering free-to-air channels and carriage fee channels. Remove the important channels and give priority to Mr. Sharma and Mrs. Verma's news channel.

Hardly anyone would opt for an upfront payment of ₹1,999 for RDTV. If at all they can justify, this maps to the one-time Installation cost like DD Free Dish has. But the difference is that it's for lifetime with DD Free Dish. And taking additional ₹1,999 from RDTV existing customers who have already paid for the hardware when they took the service is certainly wrong.
