The channel tp was getting missed on blind scan.... had to manual feed the parameters on my openbox to get the channel.....

i got around 40 - 50 channels extra on thaicom 5 after manual feeding the parameters ... Blind scan is not the only option to search channels on a bird...

Yes Biswajit bhai, same with me, when I tuned Eutelsat 7, in blind scan only one Tp come, after I stored one by one manually, then I got good signal on 10 more Tp.

Thats why we can search all the tps on the satellite chart on net and we can verify as of what tps we have scanned and which ones we have missed....
Sometimes we miss tps bcoz of improper allignment, lnb skew and also due to improper azimuth of the dish.....
But i was surprised as many tps with more than 70 percent signal quality and 90 percent signal intensity were missed on blind scan at first attempt :huh
