Pulimurugan First Weekend Box Office Collections: Sets A New Record..!!

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starrer has made a fantastic opening at the box office. The movie broke all the pre-existing initial collection records of Mollywood, by making a whopping initial collection.

Now, Pulimurugan has once again stunned the industry with its exceptional box office performance. The movie has made a gross collection of 12.91 Crores just within the first weekend (3 days) of its release, from the Kerala box office.
Thus, Pulimurugan emerged as the fastest Malayalam movie to cross the 10-Crore mark, by breaking the record set by Mohanlal's recently released movie, Oppam. The net collection and share are yet to be revealed.

The movie had a grand opening at the Kerala box office by making an initial collection of 4.8 Crores. On the second and third days of its release (Saturday and Sunday), Pulimurugan collected 4.02 and 4.83 Crores respectively.

Pulimurugan is expected to collect that the movie will collect more than 100 Crores within its lifetime run from the worldwide box office. If it happens, the movie will emerge as the all-time highest grosser of Mollywood.
The movie, which stars Mohanlal in the title role Murugan, has succeeded in impressing both the action movie lovers and Mohanlal fans. Pulimurugan is scripted by Udaykrishna and produced by Mulakupadam Films.

Pulimurugan Box Office 5 Days Collections: Rewrites History


Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller, is performing extremely well at the box office. The movie, which hit the theatres on October 7, Friday, has already earned the blockbuster status.

Now, Pulimurugan has now rewritten the history, by emerging as the fastest Malayalam movie to cross the 20-Crore mark. The movie made a gross collection of about 21 Crores, within the first 5 days of its release.
It is a surely a huge achievement for a Malayalam film, which was made with a budget around 25 Crores. The team expects that Pulimurugan will cross 25 Crores, within the first week of its release.

The movie had a fantastic opening at the box office, by collecting about 4.5 Crores from the Kerala box office alone. Pulimurugan made a gross collection of 12.91 Crores within the first 3 days, from Kerala.



Reportedly, Pulimurugan has made a total collection of 14.41 Crores from the all India box office, within the first weekend. Thus, the movie broke the records set by Mammootty's Kasaba and Mohanlal's Oppam.
Mohanlal, the lead actor has stated that Pulimurugan is one of the most challenging projects in his career, and had expressed his desire to watch the film with audiences from a Kerala releasing centre.
However, the actor couldn't make it due to his highly busy schedule. But, Mohanlal's wife Suchitra has already watched the film twice, with their close friends and son Pranav Mohanlal.
