New Gen Media’s Tamil entertainment channel Puthuyugam is known for its programming line-up with multiple flavours such as Romance, fantasy, bakthi, thiller, etc. The Channel is adding a new flavour to its line up by adding a brand new glittering family drama ‘Pattuselai’.

Pattuselai on Puthuyugam will commence on 8th February 2016 and scheduled to be aired in its 7:00 PM time band during the weekdays. Pattuselai will also be repeated during next day afternoon at 1:00 PM.
The Story of Pattuselai will deal with family situations, betrayal, and business competition set in the backdrop of a Silk Saree shop. This shop is run by Kanchana, who is a very strong and cunning business woman who would go to any lengths to stop competition from spoiling her business. She is also a mother and she is very protective and caring of her son Ajay.
Thamarai, a poor but hardworking and ambitious girl from the nearby village buys Silk Sarees in instalments from Kanchana’s shop from the city and sells them in her village. The twist in the tale comes when it is revealed that Thamarai is in love with Kanchana’s rich son Ajay.
What will happen when Kanchana gets to know about her son’s love for a poor girl? Will she accept her or will she use her cunning business brain to avoid her? Will Ajay, who will never do anything to hurt his mother, reject Thamarai if his mother objects…? rest will be the gripping story of Pattuselai on Puthuyugam.
