Popular cinematographer Ravi K Chandran is set to become a director. His maiden venture as a filmmaker will feature Dhanush as the protagonist and the project is expected to go on floors soon.
To be produced by SS Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, who had given many hits in association with Ajith, the yet-to-be-titled movie will have music by Harris Jayaraj. "It will be based on a contemporary theme," say sources.
Dhanush, who is currently busy with elder brother Selvaraghavan's 'Mayakkam Enna' and wife Aishwarya's maiden directorial venture '3', is thoroughly impressed by Ravi K Chandran's idea. Meanwhile Ravichandran is convinced that Dhanush alone could fit to the role well.
