Sab TV brings horror comedy show in early primetime
MUMBAI: Having experimented with horror comedies earlier through ‘Bhootwala Serial’, Sab TV is now bringing back yet another horror comedy ‘Pritam Pyaare Aur Woh’ in its early primetime band on weekdays.
Touted as India’s first ‘Ghostbuster’ horror comedy show, ‘Pritam Pyaare Aur Woh’ launches on 3 March, airing at 7:30 pm from Monday through Friday.
The show aims to be a rib-tickling yet scary one, giving viewers the experience to see a ghost, talk to them and catch them. In a completely new treatment to the subject of ghosts, the show revolves around two endearing brothers Pritam, played by Siddharth Sagar, and Pyaare, portrayed by Prasad Barve, who accidentally and unknowingly get famous solving ghostbuster cases.
Sab TV senior EVP and business head Anooj Kapoor said, “We have made horror comedy before and it had been very successful for us. There is a strong recall for this genre and hence we decided to bring this genre back on air in an all-new and contemporary treatment. Pritam and Pyaare are all set to be India’s favourite ghostbusters.”
