Top Bollywood actor Salman Khan underwent a successful surgery for a nerve disorder in the US, family sources inform.
The actor, whose latest blockbuster 'Bodyguard' was released on Eid all over the country to packed houses, has been advised rest for at least a week after the surgery yesterday, the sources said.
Salman had been experiencing acute pain in the jaw for last three months and had been advised to undergo immediate surgery abroad.
The actor, after giving two smash hits like 'Wanted' and 'Dabbang' is on the verge of a hat-trick of successes and is now most in demand in Bollywood with producers waiting to sign him for astronomical amounts, industry sources said.
Even, Shahrukh Khan, with whom Salman has some differences, has wished him speedy recovery.
