Odisha’s leading Odia general entertainment channel Sarthak TV is all set to launch the third season of its reality show ‘Grihalaxmi’ on 2 November, 2015.
The concept of ‘Grihalaxmi’ is based on the rituals of Laxmi Purana supposed to be followed by every Odia married woman.
In season 3, the channel has brought in for the first time a cash prize of Rs 11 lakhs for the title winner of 2015 season.
Odia ladies in the age group of 18-35 years can participate in the show by answering, performing correctly as well as timely, the simple ritualistic activities they normally follow.
This is the first time that an Odia television channel has announced a prize amount of Rs 11 lakh.
In addition to the cash prize for the title winner, there are prizes in store for the runner ups, gift hampers for the rest of the finalists, as well as prizes for viewers during telecast of the show.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has signed an agreement to acquire Sarthak TV and is awaiting approvals.
