MUMBAI: In a bid to offer innovative programming and entertainment to viewers, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is all set to present a special telefilm involving its two popular shows ‘CID’ and ‘Adaalat’.
The two shows have come together for a three-hour special film titled ‘CID–Adaalat Karmyuddh’ that will air tomorrow (20 December 2014) at 8 pm on the channel.
It will feature ACP Pradyuman Singh and his team from ‘CID’ and KD Pathak from ‘Adaalat’ coming together to solve a murder mystery. The courtroom drama will see the two protagonists pitted against each other trying to solve the case.
Speaking to TelevisionPost.c om, Contiloe Entertainment CEO Abhimanyu Singh, who is also the producer of ‘Adaalat’, said, “We were discussing this opportunity for integration like this with Sony for quite some time now. ‘CID–Adaalat Karmyuddh’ will be of three hours in duration like a feature film and will be the first of its kind.”
