Continuing with its programming
overhaul, Hindi general entertainment channel
Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is unveiling
yet another show. Titled ‘Mooh Boli Shaadi’, the
love story will launch on 23 February.
Occupying the 8:30 pm slot from Monday to
Friday, the show will replace ‘Humsafars’, which
was originally launched in the 10:30 pm slot but
later shifted to early primetime to make way for
‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar’.
SET chief creative director Ajay Bhalwankar said,
“Love stories always appeal to people across
generations and our new offering is a ‘girl meets
boy’ story with a twist. The story of ‘Mooh Boli
Shaadi’ will resonate with today’s youngsters and
their approach towards married life. It is not only
young and fun, but also thought provoking.
Shashi Summet Mittal Productions has made
some breakthrough shows on Indian television
and we are positive that this concept will also be
well received by the viewers.”
‘Mooh Boli Shaadi’ is a coming-of-age love story
of a young couple, exploring the trials of an
impulsive love marriage.
The channel has two more fiction shows on the
anvil. One is the mythological ‘Mahabali
Hanuman’; the other is a mature love story ‘Dil Ki
Baatein Dil Hi Jaane’, marking the comeback of
Ram Kapoor after his previous stint in ‘Bade
Ache Lagte Hai’ on the channel.
