are all HD channels in fastway true full HD channels ??? as 8-9 HD channels are put in one digital freq. What compression are they using ??? as its not possible to put more than 5 HD channels in a freq.

SONY ESPN Now looks like a Sony network channel to see its availability on all dths and Msos

@dinesh bro, but as per technical experts, 1 HD channel = 4-5 SD channels

do 4x4=16 as each HD channel is 4 times the PQ/AQ then a SD channel

yes 16 HD channels can be put in one freq in MPEG 4 max being 20.

But 8 HD channel is not possible as per technician and as channels get too much compressed and pixelated.

Fastway must be using some other technology or is downscaling the channels to 720p so it can fit 8 HD in one freq

but every single SD having 720/576i Resolution..
