Seeking Help Sony Ht iv 300 with d2h hd6666rf

I am using d2h HD 6666rf box with Sony Ht iv 300 home theater.... Home theater hangs while Iam switching channels HD (5.1audio) to non 5.1 HD CHANNELS OR SD CHANNELS (stereo AUDIO)....
RESTART OF HOME THEATRE IS THE ONLY SOLUTION I'VE FOUND PLEASE HELP ME

How is the HT connected to STB? STB HDMI out to HT HDMI in and then HT HDMI out to TV HDMI in?

What I do is I mute the STB when I change the channels from Dolby to stereo audio. Like this it doesn't get hang

Currently using dts neo 6 cinema

Change it to Dolby Pro Logic and retry.

What I do is I mute the STB when I change the channels from Dolby to stereo audio. Like this it doesn't get hang

No other solutions?? What I do is press HDMI 1 on ht and change the channels from Dolby to stereo then return to HDMI 2
