English movie channel Sony Pix will be showcasing the ‘Twilight’ franchise as part of its ‘Pixathon’ initiative on 6 November from 9 am onwards.

The series revolves around the story of a 17-year old girl named Bella Swan who happens to move to a small town to live with her father where she soon finds herself attracted to Edward Cullen. This is followed by an emotional relationship between human and a vampire and the ensuing efforts of Edward and his family to keep Bella safe from a separate bunch of intimidating vampires.

Directed by Bill Condon, the series has broken box-office records as the biggest midnight screening and opening day in history, grossing an estimated $393.6 million globally.

Sony Pix claims that with characters aesthetically portrayed by the lead actors, the movie is a complete package of all emotions. The music of the series, composed by Alexandra Patsavas, has also won a lot of accolades, with ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
