In next six months we have some very important shows lined up. In fact we have been working on shows since the last 12 months. We will launch ‘KBC’ on August 28, ‘Super Dancer’ on September 30, ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ (just before KBC ends), ‘Haasil’ and ‘Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai’ in October, ‘Porus’ in around October or November first week and ‘Prithvi Vallabh’ in November end.

‘Ek Deewana Tha’ by Prateek Sharma of ‘Beyhad’ fame, is a love story with a supernatural element to it. Haasil, produced by Siddharth P Malhotra, has big names like Zaheer Khan, Vatsal Seth and Nikita Dutta. ‘Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai’ is a love story set in the ‘90s, which has not been seen on television.

We have been rebuilding the channel since the last two years. The development of shows took time but we are now ready to roll out some of our most ambitious ones.

We don't take decisions based on one Thursday ratings: Danish Khan, SET

Hindi GEC Sony Entertainment Television’s (SET) sub-brand SET Originals will debut in December with the launch of ‘Prithvi Vallabh’, a 40-episodic historical series that will air every weekend at 8.30 pm.

With Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9 nearing its end, the channel is revamping its programming line-up by launching new shows. As reported earlier by TelevisionPost.com, Ek Diwana Tha will replace KBC at 10 pm slot from 23 October and Haasil at 9.30 pm from 30 October.

Currently, KBC airs from 9 to 10.30 pm, however, with the launch of Ek Diwana Tha the quiz show will become a one-hour affair. The quiz show will be moved to 8.30 pm slot following the launch of Haasil on 30 October.
It will replace SET’s popular thriller drama Beyhadh, which airs at 8.30 pm. In the new time slot, KBC will feature contestants who participated in its interactive initiative Jio Play Along. The winners of Jio Play Along will receive an opportunity to grab the hot seat and win the sum of Rs 7 crore.

KBC is expected to conclude mid-November following which the channel will air its most ambitious project Porus at 8.30 pm. SET has already locked in three sponsors – Pantanjali Dant Kanti, Raymond and Macho – for the show.

While Porus will air in the 8.30 pm slot, the 9 pm slot will feature Shashi Sumeet Productions’ new fiction drama Ristha Likhenge Hum Naya.

Wow, so many new shows in a span of 1 month.

Everything is going great, just that they need to stop telecasting Crime Patrol Dial 100 :wall:
