Soodhu Kavvum starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sanchita Shetty in lead roles has completed 50 days run at the box office. The film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy hit the screens on May 1 and is still running successfully in a few theatres across the state doing good business at the TN Box Office due to its excellent word of mouth.
The film was produced by Thirukumaran Entertainments and released by Studio Green. Music was by Santhosh Narayananan while the cinematography was being handled by Dinesh and editing by Leo John Paul.
The Hindi remake rights of Soodhu Kavvum have gone for a record price. The rights have been sold to an undisclosed producer who had paid a very high price for a relatively low budget film.
