Star Movies channel is geared up to offer the best recent Hollywood blockbusters to its subscribers for the end of year festivities.
The two-week blockbuster bonanza will start from December 14 at 9 pm. This initiative, according to a Star spokesperson, will give their subscribers a two-week opportunity to watch the widely-acclaimed Hollywood blockbusters.
“The end of year period is very special and we want our consumers to enjoy the best content available on our channel,” said the spokesperson.
The starting movie on December 14 will premiere ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, featuring Chris Evans who battles a mysterious assassin called the Winter Soldier. Liam Neeson then springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk. ‘Non – Stop’ will be aired on 15 December.
Star Movies will also telecast ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ on December 17 and ‘Exodus: Gods And Kings’ on December 18. Other films being shown are ‘Lucy’ and ‘ Maze Runner’ and ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ amongst others.
Star Movies India is transmitted in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The channel is available on all DTH platforms across India and as part of the Star India bouquet. The programme “Hollywood Premiere” of this channel premieres the latest Hollywood movies every weekend.
