In past, we have seen fringe content from Insight channel on TS 4K (remember the skiing & rock climbing documentary ?)

In early Oct this channel launched full time across Europe, Asia, Russia & Latin America. More here Indian Television News
Here is my speculation, since it is supposed to be a full time subscription channel in India (a first for a 4K service), TS may find 24x7 content here for the 4K STB. A simple business case is, if you have nothing to showcase on 4K 24x7, it is hard to test even the new installations at customer end, let alone marketing and selling the same aggressively.
Given the current scenario in bollywood & hollywood we are at least a few months away from a 24x7 4K service here, leaving TS with to go with Insight and wait for sporting events like World Cup for additional 4K content. By the look of it, it is no brainer for TS to have this 4K channel on it's platform.
