Well, they did it. The improbable romance of media mogul Rupert Murdoch and American ex-model and mother of Mick Jagger offspring Jerry Hall culminated Friday when the two got hitched in London..

And they did it at Princess Diana's family townhouse, Spencer House, an 18-century palace in central London still owned by the late Diana's brother, the Earl Spencer, and said to be the finest of London's surviving palaces of the era.

Murdoch tweeted his happiness in maybe his last tweet for 10 days...or ever.

Murdoch, 84 and on his fourth marriage, and Hall, 59, on her first legal marriage, were snapped emerging with smiles from Spencer House, dressed in decidedly casual clothes.

He was in a navy suit.
