Produced by Freemantle Media, 'Private Investigator' will air every Sunday at 8 pm.
Star Plus, the leading Hindi general entertainment channel, is set to add another show to its offerings, this time a detective drama.
The show, titled 'Private Investigator' is about a college going 21 year old private investigator.
It will replace the recently concluded singing reality of the channel - Indian's Raw Star. The first edition of the show saw Rituraj Mohanty emerge as the winner.
Private Investigator will air every Sunday at 8 pm, starting December 7. The show is produced by Freemantle media and conceptualised by Sourabh Ratnu. The series will be jointly directed by Ratnu and Anusha Rizvi.
This is after a long time that the channel is attempting a detective show.
A few years ago, it had a popular series starring Hussain Kuwarjelwala and Shraddha Nigam called 'Krishna Arjun'.
For the weekday 8 pm programming time-slot, the channel will soon be taking one if its top rated shows, 'Ek Hasina Thi' off-air. The show will be replaced by 'Tu Mera Hero' on December 22.
