Kannada news channel Suvarna News 24x7 unveiled its new studio and premises in Bangalore on August 20, 2012.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Selvaraj, CEO, Suvarna News 24x7 said, “Shifting of the studios was an opportunity for us to bring in changes along with it. We have also changed a whole lot of our programmes and the general look and feel of the channel. We have used our own channel to promote awareness about this change, besides taking outdoor as support media.”
Vishweshwar Bhat, Editor-in-Chief, Suvarna News 24x7 added here, “We are changing not only the offices, studio and look, but also content and style of presentation. We will make our viewers part of this change by taking their suggestions and implementing them wherever and whenever necessary.”
The inauguration ceremony was attended by political leaders, celebrities and film stars from across Karnataka.
Karnataka Chief Minister Jagdish Shettar declared the opening of the new studio and read out the news bulletin at 9AM from the channel’s New Delhi studio.
