As per title , Tamilnadu Govt. TAC TV corporation planning to give 200 channels in 125/M in Digital Format (STB) from July 15th 2017 - Tamilnadu Cable TV corporation (TAC'TV)
All the said MSO's "SCV, VK, TCCL etc" are mostly available in Chennai alone and LCO's in Chennai seems not interested in Arasu else they would have switched to Arasu immediately once they knew about Arasu DAS license.
LCO's seem to want a higher share in revenue so giving DAS for Rs 125 (In Rs 70 Arasu gives Rs 50 to LCO and in Rs 125 Arasu might offer around Rs 60) might not be sufficient for them so they seem to get interested in MSO that collects larger subscription charge (VK offers Rs 160 & 250 packs) and offer a larger share in revenue.
SCV offers all Tamil and SD channels at Rs 250.
TCCL Offers all Tamil,SD and HD channels (except Sun HD Channels) at Rs 230-250.
VK Offers all Tamil,SD and HD channels (except Sun HD Channels) at Rs 230-250.
So all MSO almost collect the same amount from subscribers and they don't have any competition (No idea if Arasu would ever enter Chennai) at the moment so so mostly there wont be any change in the subscription charges the MSO collects currently.
