Tata sky will air 65 news channels to its subscribers free of cost for one week during election results.

The company is offering 65 news channels including regional news channels free of cost for one week.Tata Sky, a Direct-to-home (DTH) service provider in India, has announced that it will air 65 news channels to its subscribers free of cost with immediate effect for one week during election results.
The company said in a statement on Wednesday that the offer also includes news channels available on Tata Sky’s Everywhere TV service which will allow viewing on smart phones & tablets as well.
Irrespective of the pack that the subscribers has opted, they will get a bouquet of 13 English news channels, 18 Hindi News channels and 38 regional news channels free this week.
The regional language news channels include Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Sky will provide 65 news channels cutting across various languages free of cost to its subscribers with immediate effect as the country gears up for result day on 16 May. The news channels are being offered free for seven days. The offer also includes news channels available on Tata Sky’s Everywhere TV service which will allow viewing on smart phones and tablets as well. A bouquet of 13 English news channels, 18 Hindi News channels and 38 regional news channels will be offered free this week, irrespective of the pack that the subscriber has opted for. Regional-language news channels include Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Tata Sky has a presence in over 36,000 towns with over 11.5 million subscribers.
