There is no live cricket telecast on ESPNHD whether there is any other live events or not.

There is IND-NZ test on SC & SCHD.
So ESPN will telecast SA-ENG 1st ODI.
That time there is no live event on ESPNHD but it willn't telecast.

SCHD will telecast IND-NZ test.
