Mumbai: Times Now along with ET Now have emerged as the preferred English News channels across the urban and affluent audience and consumers of key categories in All India 1 mn+ Markets.
As per the TAM Ratings between 9th Sept 2012 and 6th Oct 2012 49% of the core TG of Urban and Affluent Audience (CS M 35+ AB), 45 % of the core TG of MNC bank account holders (CS M 15+ AB), 47 % of the core TG of car owners (CS M 25+ A) and 46% of the core TG of Life Insurance policy holders (CS M 25+ AB) prefer Times Now & ET Now over other English News channels. The Core TG of all these groups has been determined as per TGI study of 2011 conducted by IMRB.
Basis this mapping, it is also clear that when it comes to English News Channels, 1 out of every 2 of the core TG of Urban and Affluent audience, MNC bank account holders, Car Owners and Life Insurance policy holders watches Times Now + ET Now .
