TN Govt and Collectors warn Cable operators - Public shouldn't pay more than Rs. 70.

Thanjavur and Tiruvarur district collectors N. Subbaiyan and S. Natarajan have appealed to Arasu Cable TV users to pay only Rs.70 a month as fee to cable operators.

In a release on Tuesday, the Collectors said that the corporation has given receipt books to the operators and consumers can pay Rs. 70 and take the receipts. If the cable TV operators collect over Rs. 70 or refuse to give receipts , the subscribers in Thanjavur district can call 04362-231754, 044-28221233, 9498002586 and fax: 044-28253021.

The subscribers in Tiruvarur district can call 9498002595, 044-28221233 and Fax: 044-28253021 or write to Deputy Manager, Arasu Cable TV, 31, Perumal Koil Street, Edatheru, Madapuram, Tiruvarur.

Tamilnadu Government warns Cable operators of excess billing.

The TN government said that there will be strict action taken against cable operators associated with Arasu cable corporation if they charge beyond the Rs.70 fixed by the corporation.

Starting Feb 5th 2014, new billing system would commence with new bill booklets issued to the cable operators. Any case of excess charge or non-issuance of bill would lead to strict action by the corporation against the LCO’s.

The customers who face any problem with billng are supposed to contact the Local deputy managers of Arasu cable corporation at 044-28221233 or fax at 044-28253021.
