Top 10 Gumnaam Movies of Bollywood

1.Ship of Theseus:
Director Anand Gandhi had already made a mark for writing the long running soaps such as Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. In this venture the maker has tackled issues like redemption as well as death. The star cast has done an exemplary task and the movie created ripples when it was featured in the Toronto International Film Festival.

2.Kshay:
Kshay was a movie sans color. The maker Karan Gour chose to shot the entire film in black and white and the film was touted as a psychological thriller related to an obsession. The acting abilities of Rasika Duggal who essayed the role of an obsessive housewife won her the admiration of the masses and the critics. Kshay made its way into four film festivals and has been appreciated by the critics from overseas.

3.Gattu:
Gattu could see the light of the day, thanks to the efforts of Children's Film Society of India. The movie was around the obsession of a young child Gattu who loves to fly kites. The movie highlighted strong emotions such as grit and determination. It also highlighted how hope and belief works wonders and paves the way for you to fulfill your dreams. Rajan Khosa has done an amazing task of making this film which was appreciated both in India as well as abroad.

4.Mumbai Cha Raja:
Mumbai Cha Raja is a film by Manjeet Singh and it explores the lower strata of people who make up most of the population of the land of dreams Mumbai. The movie is a story of triumph and failure. It was officially selected to be featured at the Toronto International Film Festival 2012, the Abu Dhabi Film Festival New Horizons Competition and the Mumbai Film Festival Indian Competition.

5.Miss Lovely:
Miss Lovely is a film by Ashim Ahlualia and it takes us along a journey into the now obscure ages where C grade p**nographic horror flicks were considered to be artistic. The movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Niharika Singh and has won two awards at the 14th Mumbai Film Fetival. It was also a part of the Cannes Film Festival in 2012.

6.Supermen of Malegaon (SOM):
SOM brings us face to face with the people of Malegaon who all are focused on a single goal of having their own Malegaon version of Superman. They attempt to do this by making spoofs of famous Bollywood movies. Much before the movie was released, it had already received 15 awards at film festivals.

7.Good Night Good Morning (GNGM):
Yet another black and white venture this movie attempts to understand the underlying desire of being loved which exists within each one of us. The movie was screened at numerous international film festivals and received lots of praise for the noteworthy performance.

8.Shuttlecock Boys:
Shuttlecock Boys was indeed very special for the fact that all the cast and crew were absolute freshers and had no prior experience nor had they received any form of formal training. The movie was about the loves of a group of four friends who belonged to the lower middle class in Delhi. It was about their success and failures. The movie reached the Gotham Screen International Film Festival, New York, the Seattle South Asian Film Festival and the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.

9.Delhi in A Day:
Delhi in a Day is a film by Prashant Nair and it is paved against the backdrop of a well to do family residing in Delhi. The film makes a mark on the socio economic strata and remains the most focused movie made till date.

10.Peddlers:
Peddlers is touted as a crime thriller and revolves around the lives of the three main protagonists who have borne the brunt of the brutality of society since their childhood. The movie was featured in the 2012 International Critics' Week which is a film event in Southern France.
These movies have proved that a lot more goes into making a film, besides having a big budget or a popular star cast.

These movies were not promoted in any TV channels and were made only for screening at different film festival events. But, these movies should be telecasted on the TV so that we can learn something from them.
