Topper TV will be discontinued effective 22nd October 2024

Topper TV finally quit from 22 Oct. 2024. Really longer journey by the channel.

l felt excited about that tv content but never paid for it. Only gone through preview. They took education next level that time and that a different way.

A very good education channel is being shutdown because of the Ongoing Merger . So Merger Completion Announcement can be done on or after 22nd October onwards anyday

I’m surprised it lasted this long in this age of Byju’s, Unacademy and other edtech companies. After COVID the whole learning paradigm changed in urban areas. Obviously this channel was best suited for the late 2000s/early 2010s, and I believe Topper Channel also powered Tata Sky’s Actve Learning service.

There seems to be no connection of this channel being shutdown with forthcoming merger...... This channel is being shutdown as in today's time such channels hold little relevance more so when they r subscription based as people either prefer Free content to learn information via TV or Youtube and for online learning they have various options which offer convenience to study as per one's own schedule

It is related bro it was a Subsidiary of Tv18 n part of Network18 with name Greycells18 they've merged Tv18, E18, Bookmyshow, others shares to Network18 but not this one .

Buddy i am saying discontinuation is not related to merger.. .... Ofcourse i know it is part of Greycells18 which is subsidiary of TV18..... Also now that News Channels licence have been transferred to Network18 so likely that History TV18 licence will be moved to Star India Private Limited and renamed as History or The History Channel (already licence name of its SD feed is registered as The History Channel)

History Tv18 also now under Network18 in subsidiary Share . You're not understanding bro it is related in merger because of Share market share I'm saying. Look below
