With a view to informing Cable TV consumers and consumer organisations, their rights, responsibilities and available options, the TRAI has released an eBook on its website "FAQs about Broadcasting & Cable TV Services".
The handbook also contains a gist of the relevant regulations and orders pertaining to broadcasting and cable TV services.
Aspects covered in this handbook include procedures for connection, disconnection, transfer, shifting, complaint registration and billing.
TRAI endeavours to facilitate the availability of affordable broadcasting and cable TV services while ensuring that the quality provided to the consumers by the service providers is satisfactory.
