Turksat 3A (East beam) in Delhi

Hi Delhi freinds,

Yesterday night I was trying to track Turksat 3A. By some efforts I got 5 TPs but unable to lock those tps. My digital satfinder was beeping & showing upto 40% signal. But when I came down to check the tv, my solid M star receiver found those frequencies but unable to lock those channels. The signals were fluctuating from 0 to 40%. :s

If anyone is from Delhi plz try these frequencies:

10966 H/ 15199
10982 H/ 9600
11054 H/ 30000
11096 H/ 30000
10966 V/ 15199

It will be easy to first track Dialog Dth in Intelsat 12@ 45*e. The signals are very strong reach upto 90%. Then slightly move towords right, you will get that. :tup

m getting 3a tps on my d2h dish with good signal in kullu himachal & 2a on my 6' solid dish.

41 dbW beam is reaching delhi, wud be very difficult on 80 cm dish :s

@ Shawl bro, try to believe someone. Everyone cannot manage to give SS all the time. :sp If you will see the footprints the footprints is covering up to whole Central India. In Delhi it is not 41dbW but 44.2dbW.

I already mentioned that I got 5 TPs with 40% signal with loud beep (without fluctuating) in sat finder. May be my desi STB solid's tuner is not able to receive these signals. I will go for a branded one. See the footprints again in Satstar.net

I think footprints on satstar are old. Check satbeams, it shows 41 dbW.

Even if u go by satstar, beam is 42.2 dbW, try running beam finder setup... it'll indicate Delhi position on the map. The red dot indicates Delhi :

I have tried really hard for this sat, But of lately, I havent tracked it.. cud be the signals have increased a little. :k

May be you have not got it since you are using small dish and I got it as I am using 90cm dish. I am saying again that I got 5 TPs with 40% beep which is able to get signals but due to unbranded receiver I could'nt receive. You may try those above frequencies, definitely you will get if you have good receiver.

Cud be... mine is 78 cm. May be ur dish is fetching some fringe signals, but Ill give it a go, in 2 weeks time... as I havent tried this sat for past 10 odd months. :win

Anyways, all the channels will be shifted to Turksat 4a which has very storng signals in North India & you will difinitely get by your small dish in coming weeks.

I m just wondering, why 4A isnt moving to 42e slot, its testing on 50e by more than 2 months now. :s :sp
