UTV Action, known for its path breaking initiatives, has entered the Limca Book of Records.
As a part of its launch activity in Capetown, South Africa, the channel had organised a skydiving activity in Capetown, South Africa that involved 30 civilians on 5 February last year. Participants enjoyed an action-packed weekend where they were given the exhilarating experience of skydiving from an altitude of 9,500 feet in the picturesque land of South Africa.
This initiative earned UTV Action's entry for the highest number of Indian skydivers in a foreign land on a single day in the Limca Book of Records.
Speaking on the accomplishment, UTV Action Marketing Head Kunal Mukherjee said, "Since its inception, UTV Action has always aimed at creating an edge with its unique initiatives. Entering the Limca Book of Records has added a new feather to the cap and works as a motivation to offer a higher level of action and entertainment to our patrons."
The big bang launch activity was designed with an aim to give 30 trade patrons a hard core action experience by travelling to Melkbosstrand in Cape Town which is known for its high octane adventure and action.
